Hi,
As you are a entrepreneur, so pursuing MBA through distance education would be the best option for you, by this you can easily maintain balance between your business and studies.
The duration of the course depends on the availability of time, and it also depends on the subjects offered. If a 1 year course offers subjects equivalent to 2 year course then you may opt for 1 year course.
Good Luck.
All the Best.

Its very open ended question.both the branches have very good scope.
It depends from which college you are pursuing your degree plus your interest and finally how you perform.
If you talking about getting degree from some regional colleges then i'll suggest to go for electrical as there are more job opportunities both private and govt.like PSU's.
Mech, do fetches equal no of govt.job opportunities as elec. but there are lesser opportunities from IT industry.
Otherwise look for the reputation of your college and its placement stats in particular branch. If you opt for Tier 1 colleges like IIT anything is good.:)
