You have a lot of options to go for after diploma. You can take admission in Lateral entry in Engineering programs or you can go for jobs. I believe what ever information you have about CS isn't true, since there isn't anything like Distance learning exist. It's a professional course under a professional body, where you aren't required to go for any mandatory classes, it your choice whether you want to attend classes or not.
so basically it's sort of course in which you need to fill up form and prepare and give exams but yes, there is mandatory training that you need to attend under qualified and practicing cs for knowledge of work.

Talking about specialization to pursue it should be your own choice based on your area of interest coz now you are at the stage where you are expected to realized in which filed you want to take your career ahead and what's aim of yours.
still as per my opinion as of now MBA-International business and MBA-Marketing are in highly demand with good pay among corporations.
talking about institutes to pursue with , both the institutes you have mentioned aren't so good these are just below average so i recommend to look for some other options based on your entrance score and then make a decision and while forming it remember, Reput
