There are only 559 seats in all NITs. So, in order to get admission in NIT Trichy you should have AIR less than 1000. With this rank it's not possible for you to get admission in any if the NITs. So, I suggest you to apply for Private Institutes.

The college predictor tool is for admission in B.Tech programmes, it's not for B.Arch. There are a total of 31 NITs out of which only 9 NITs offer B.Arch which constitute a total of 559 seats. So, if your AIR is under 1.3K then you can get admission in any one of the NITs. Else, it's not possible for you to get admission, you have to go with Private Institutes.
