Eligibility:
1. A master's degree holder in any discipline or equivalent qualification with min of 55% mark in the master degree
2.all fpm applicants must also satisfy the eligibility criterea for the common admission test
Candidates with MBA degree/ diploma from a State or Central University or from a management Institute recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as equivalent to MBA degree and securing a minimum of 55% marks are eligible to do Ph.D. in Management study.

Sarwar, Design is a field that is age old and has been evolving every year like science. Sometimes student Artists are too much enamoured by Fine Arts preventing them to look objectively at Design. They must read this http://bit.ly/SXc9GD. Again like science it pays to be at the cutting edge. For e.g. science students do better if they go for CS or IT since that are areas where development is taking place rapidly. Similarly in Design the cutting edge areas are UID/ UXD, 3D Printing, Immersive Technology, Augmented Reality, 3D Projection etc, besides of course Game Design & Animation. Of course at the top of the pile lies Concept Designing (usually reserved for writers and visionaries) - these people are required by Event Companies, Animation Studios, VFX Studios, & of course Game Studios. At this stage, you may want to understand the creative world and the careers it offers. There are many careers for the creative/ artistic people. Interiors, textile as well as Web Design rely on the same skills - your layout skills and color sense. Journalism also is at this level and relies on your language skills & knowledge of history and current affairs. A little higher perches Graphic Design, Fashion Design, jewellery design, Acting, & Fine Arts which rely on one of your artistic skills - sketching & imagination. At a similar level perches VFX as well as Motion Graphics which rely on one of your artistic skills - Cinematographic skills & imagination. Then come careers like Animation, Film Making, Game Design which rely on multiple talents like your authority over sketching, acting, direction, voice, sound, writing, storytelling and problem solving skills etc. Any extra skill can be used in this. So it turns out to be one of the most challenging as well as satisfying careers. Do remember that digital design careers (e.g. web design, graphics, UI design, animation, vfx, multimedia) give better profits since they can be delivered anywhere in the world & hence may earn in dollars - resulting in better rewards for designers. Shreyashi, I am not sure how good you are at Maths and Stats. If you're very good, then you can go into design of algorithms and prediction models. Even google analytics, search optimization are good areas if you're good with applying data inferences. And if you're good at imagining the representation of data then you can move into infographics. I tend to opt for careers in the modern domains that make use of computers and websites since there is a huge dearth of right people there.

Shiva, Studying abroad in programming/ animation/ design/ film is great but you would need to understand their structure and how it works. if you're still searching you can look at studying for a job oriented diploma at a leading school in canada. If you want advice on that I can guide you and put you across to the best schools with a scholarship if possible, but for that I'd need to mentor you to develop the right portfolio. Some of the students I have guided are studying at Sheridan, VFS, Emily Carr, Bournemoth etc. and some with very good scholarships of course. VFS has a very good Placement into the top companies and studios. You can call me and discuss if you like since I am also an advisor and portfolio guide for some of them. However, these schools look for a good portfolio in concepts/ programming/ drawing/ animation the most, and some areas can make do with a digital portfolio if good. You would need someone to take you through this since if the portfolio is rejected you would spend another year remaking it. It takes around a year to get a good portfolio in place unless you are very talented.
