You need to be at least 17 years old and should have qualified 10+2 with maths, chemistry and physics. Training to become a pilot is quite laborious and expensive. Before taking on the role of a pilot, you need to obtain a commercial pilot's license, issued by the Director General (civil aviation) http://dgca.nic.in/. as you know a person can excel in every feild if he has true desire and dedication to achieve it.
These days both of them are gaining the attention of youth as they are good enough.
but hotel management provides you more security in terms of salary ,job and good placement as you have asked. whereas event management may be little bit occasional but due to the lavish ceremonies , shows or functions this has also gained importance.
as hotel management is much broader than ev. mang. it is more flexible and you have several options in it. so take your time and choose the one which suites you.
