Hi shekar,
Computer-Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) in engineering is a method of manufacturing in which the entire production process is controlled by computer. The traditional separated process methods are joined through a computer by CIM. This integration allows that the processes exchange information with each other and they are able to initiate actions. Through this, integration the manufacturing can be faster and with fewer errors, although the main advantage is the ability to create automated manufacturing processes. As per your query I would suggest you to:
- Shortlist the universities where you wish to pursue Phd.
- Once shortlisted you may then contact the admission department of these universities, either through email or phone to know the eligibility criteria for admission.
- If you meet the eligibility criteria you may then apply accordingly.
It may take three to six years to complete your PHD, depending on the field you select and your mentor.
The general eligibility criteria for PHD students are as follows:

Well i can suggest you to do Certified Management Accountant [CMA] from Institute of Management Accountant [IMA - USA], this certification is valid throughout the World. CMA has only 2 papers alone to be cleared with little accounts. 75% of Questions will be Objective and 25% is descriptive and the passout ratio is 50 - 60%, CMA is equal to ICWAI of India, already MoU has been signed between CMA and ICWAI.
You can study this course from India itself.
Good Luck.

Please remember, universities in UK have 2 admission intake in a year namely:
- Fall(September) intake.
- Spring(January) intake.
So it would be always advisable to take TOEFL test atleast 4-5 months in advance of your planned admission intake.
Regarding preparation of these test, I would suggest you to join some good coaching institute in your city which offers quality coaching for TOEFL.
These institute offers regular and weekend classes, plus they conduct mock test on regular basis.
