Anshul, I am not sure how good you are with maths and programming. If you are, then you must pick up a language whether PHP/ HTML5 (web dev), .Net (for software dev) Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games). However like i mentioned, you must be good with programming to move ahead in this area since you have to compete with other MCAs and BTech(CS) applicants. So choose your internship/ industrial training very carefully. Do not just go for the cheapest to save money. See the IT company's credentials on the net. for example if someone provide LIVE PROJECTS are they there near the TOP on PORTALS like JUSTDIAL? Or if the company is registered with STPI (Software Technology Parks of India) - all good IT companies are registered with STPI. If a company spends money to market themselves to customers, only then they are able to get LIVE PROJECTS. Also, if you are an average programmer, and if you you're better with creative work, then you can head for web design or even VFX/ Animation since there is a huge requirement coming up in that domain. Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MAH-CET) is a computer-based management entrance test. Officially known as MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2015, the exam is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra, for admission to various management courses such as MMS, PGDBM and PGDM in various institutes in the state of Maharashtra.
Eligibility
Here’s the eligibility criteria for MAH-CET 2015:
- Candidates aspiring to apply for the test must be a graduate in any discipline from any recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks.
- Final year students can also apply for MAH CET 2015.
- Candidates who have appeared for CAT 2014 / GMAT / CMAT 2015 /MAT February 2015 / XAT 2015/ ATMA are considered to be eligible for admission against the All India Seats subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria. Such candidates need to fill online application form according to the schedule.
