Preparing IIMC Entrance Exam you just need to aim on few things but prepare them with full concentration. For advertising and PR you just need to focus upon the preparation of - english communication, history (printing press/ communication - mainly of India and little of world too), introduction of advertising concept (like first person to introduce ads. , First advertisement, the latest trends in advertisement, types of ads. , Some popular ads. , Their tagline/ punchline etc. ), names of PR agency, their role etc. , current affairs, general knowledge, recent popular punchline of ads. For Bachelors/Diploma/Certificate courses:
Flexible admission:
IELTS score: 6 / 6.5 overall - As per the course and institution requirement.
TOEFL:
PBT: 550 min. CBT: 213 min.
For Post-Graduate/Masters courses:
2-3 years of full-time work experience.
GMAT: 580-600 min. IELTS score: 6.5 overall with no bands less than 6 / As per the course and institution requirement.
TOEFL:
PBT: 580-600 min. (depends on the course).
CBT: 237-250 min. (depends on the course).
4 years Bachelor's degree with 70% as average marks. Some institutions may require written samples/copies of published work/Portfolio.

TANCET entrance test for MBA and MCA is scheduled on March 25, 2017 at different time slots. TANCET for M.E. /M.Tech/M.Plan is scheduled on March 26, 2017. Exam will be conducted at 15 test centers. According to Anna University every year roughly 60,000 students take up the TANCET examination. The total number of seats for TANCET MBA in Anna University is 60 out of which 7 seats are reserved for SC and 7 seats are reserved for ST candidates. Apart from this, 10 seats are reserved for MBC candidates and 18 seats are reserved for BC candidates. The remaining 18 seats are for candidates of other castes. Important Links

Being in gene Science department, you must have a lot of skillset in Maths (like Calculus, Correlation-Regression, hypothesis testing, Stochastic and Probability modelling etc.). And data Science. To be very straight, you must to have computational Statistics with a strong background. In addition to this, qualifications like Data mining, Data modelling, Wrangling, Visualization, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Neural Networking and applied artificial intelligence are highly applicable in Bio-Physics and gene's R&D for DNA Analysis and criminology testing, this Capicity Testing etc. You can start all this step by step by learning programming (preferably Python and R).
