For B.Sc. :
General Candidates will be selected on basis of merit i.e. marks obtained in PCB in 10+2. Admission for the seats under General quota is strictly according to the merit. In respect of seats set apart for agriculturists, children of agriculturists, the University shall conduct a Practical Test (PT). The final selection will be based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the Qualifying Examination

CAT and XAT are very similar on some notes but very different on other notes. Similarity:
Quant and Verbal Section
The quant and verbal section of both CAT and XAT have the same chapters and more or less, test the candidate on similar lines. In the verbal section also, both the exams are filled with RCs which check the candidates reading and analytical skills. Difference :
