The eligibility criteria for JEE Main include:
Age limit: General category candidates must be born on or after October 1, 1999. There is a relaxation of 5 years for candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories. Educational qualification: Candidates must have passed their class 12th examination or equivalent in 2019 or 2020. For candidates who are appearing for their class 12th examination in 2021, their result must be available by September 2021. Minimum marks: Candidates must have secured a minimum of 75% marks in their class 12th examination or must be in the top 20 percentile in their respective board examinations. There is a relaxation of 5% marks for candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories. If you meet the above eligibility criteria and have also cleared the JEE Main examination, then you will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced.

The cutoff ranks for JEE Advanced vary every year and are dependent on various factors such as the number of candidates who appeared for the JEE Main exam, the difficulty level of the question paper, etc. Therefore, it is difficult to predict whether you will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced with a rank of CRL 3.5 Lacs and OBC 1.16 Lacs in JEE Main. However, as per the JEE Advanced eligibility criteria, candidates who qualify for JEE Main and rank among the top 2,50,000 candidates (including all categories) are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. In addition to this, candidates must also fulfill other eligibility criteria such as age limit, number of attempts, educational qualifications, etc. So, it is advisable to keep track of the JEE Advanced eligibility criteria and cutoff ranks and wait for the official announcement from the authorities.
