It is nice to see some one want to develop I phone. you have to understand that this kind of applications has software and hardware part. You have to decide taking up a course like embedded system, which will pave you the way you are looking for.
I strongly recommend you take up in UK Universities like He-riot Watt university, Greenwich University., where in good research opportunities are there. Singapore studies will cost you more than UK and you cannot do part time job , while studying.
