There are total 4 courses in BIMTECH
1) General/Core
2) International Business
3) Insurance Business Management
4) Retail Management
(1) and (2) - considers only CAT and GMAT scores
(3) and (4) - considers a lot of scores like - CAT, GMAT, XAT, CMAT . and . MAT
But you will have to check on the deadlines too.
In synopsis, with MAT scores you will be considered for Insurance Business Management and Retail Management courses, provided you cross the cutoff and the deadline is not over.

It's a great choice to select career in Banking & Finance. Many institute offer Bachelors program with Banking & Insurance as specialisation. LIke B.com (BI) or any bachelors degree will be good enough. Then prepare for the Bank (PO, Clerk) exam and get into the banking industry.
Many private banks have tied up with institute offering courses in banking & finance (like IIBF, IFBI, Manipal Academy, Times Academy, NIIT, APTECH etc.,). They offer a diploma program, post which an entrance exam and then you can get a job in a bank.
