Here are the following options:
1. You can go for further studies i.e. Ph.D which is now of 3 years only (in most of the colleges).
2. You can go for the teaching job. You can go in many colleges and become the assistant professor or you can get the teaching job and can continue your Ph.D within the college only. This is the most efficient option because in this you can continue your studies while working.
3. You can join government sector organisations like ISRO, DRDO, etc. These are the big government organisations. You have a benefit that you can fill the form for both vacancies (B.Tech students and M.Tech students).

The basic prerequisites to become a pilot are mentioned below:
You must complete class XII under the 10+2 system or its equivalent with a minimum of 50 percent marks in maths and physics. You must be at least 16 years of age to be eligible for a Student Pilot License, 17 for a Private Pilot License, and 18 for a Commercial Pilot License. Alternatively, you could directly enrol for the Private Pilot License once you have cleared class XII and are 17 years old. This involves taking an exam conducted by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation* consisting of theory papers on air navigation, aviation meteorology, air regulation and technical aspects. Your vision in one eye must be perfect. In general medical terminology, it is called 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6. General physical fitness is mandatory. You must be free of any disease that can hamper normal function. You need to complete the requisite number of hours, clear written papers and the medical examination. You need 70 percent marks to pass in each of these papers. You can keep appearing until you clear them. Note: The application form is available at all flying clubs. You can also write to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. You can not take a certificate as MD as no matter how much experience you do not have an MBBS degree. Please refer to the eligibility criteria to pursue MD:
- Eligibility for the MD course is restricted to those holding the M. B. S. degree. The certification must be from a university that is acknowledged by the Medical Council of India. - Percentage criteria may vary from institute to institute. Training is attained in medical disciplines which are non-surgical in nature such as Internal Medicine, Radiology, and Pathology etc. Rank obtained in an entrance examination forms the basis for admission. - Some institutions may conduct a personal interview of the candidate.
