If you want to do MBA from good colleges, I advice you to give CAT instead of GMAT.
If you want top foreign colleges, you have to give GMAT otherwise CAT is the best exam to get admission in top MBA colleges.
Apart from CAT, there is some good colleges which have their own entrance exam like XAT, IIFT, SNAP, NMAT, etc.

There are many colleges for mechanical engineering. The best course for mechanical engineering is M.Tech in mechanical engineering, piping design and engineering.

Apart from CAT, there are different other entrance exams for MBA which are MAT, CMAT, XAT or GMAT. Through these exams also you can get good colleges for MBA.
