To get admission into the private colleges like VIT University, SRM University, etc. you need to write and clear their respective entrance exams. They don't consider your JEE marks for admission.
The best private universities are:
1) BITS Pilani
2) VIT University
3) SRM University
4) Sastra University

6) Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University
7) Shiv Nadar University
8) Amity University
9) Chandigarh University

Well, the rank predictor solely depends on the previous year marks vs rank trend. So, I am not telling that they are 100% accurate because every year, no of candidates are increasing, these are basically made to give you the glimpse of the rank, so that you can predict your expected colleges.
