Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams, and buildings. Civil engineers design, build, supervise, operate, and maintain construction projects and systems in the public and private sector, including roads, buildings, airports, tunnels, dams, bridges, and systems for water supply and sewage treatment. Many civil engineers work in design, construction, research, and education. Civil Engineering is an age old profession and with Government of India's focus is on infrastructure building , scope and opportunities for Civil Engineer will be very high for next few years.

Automobile engineering is a branch of Mechanical engineering, where you'll deal mostly with automobile, whereas in Mechanical engineering, you'll deal with all machines and its design and then many more basics. But literally both are same, no big difference. Syllabus of Automobile engineering overlaps with Mechanical engineering between 80 to 90%. Compulsory courses on engineering drawing, workshop, instrumentation, Thermodynamics, Strength of material , theory of machines, heat transfer, Refrigeration etc are common in both Mechanical and Automobile engineering but additional like automotive chassis, engine, dynamics, body engineering suspension, transmission, automotive electronics & electrical are separate .
Automobile engineering is a niche branch thus it has less opportunities in comparison to Mechanical engineering graduates. Mechanical engineers are employed in Automobile industry but Automobile engineers may not be preferred in core mechanical jobs.
If you do not get admission in B.Tech Automobile Engineering, you may go ahead with B.Tech Mechanical Engineering. You can do M.Tech Automobile engineering after completing B.Tech Mechanical Engineering.

Step I: Qualify the Food Inspector Exam conducted by Union Service Public Service Commission.
Education Essentials-
Graduates in medicine with minimum one year training in food inspection
Bachelors degree in any science stream with Chemistry as compulsory subject
Bachelors degree in Agriculture / Public Health/ Veterinary Science/Dairy Technology/Pharmacy / Food Technology
Age limit-
21 and 30 years for general candidates.
Upper age limit specified for OBC candidates is 33 years and for SC/ST candidates is 35 years.
Only Indian Citizens can apply for this test.
*There will be questions from technical subjects, English, Numerical Ability and General Knowledge.
Step II: Qualify the interview
-Personal interview is there for the candidates who have qualified in the written test conducted for the recruitment of food inspector.
-The primary objective of this interview is to test whether the candidates possess adequate knowledge to take up the responsibility of food inspector.
-Candidates can expect technical questions which cover the areas of food technology.
-They should have good idea about how the food products are processed to do well in the interview round.
-As this is a personal interview, the attitude of the candidates will be also tested.
*All the proper information that is required for the test can be gathered from newspapers or magazines. Another good option available for you is to browse the internet.
This will help you to collect more data about the examination and its syllabus. An alternative to this is to practice on question papers of the prior years.It will aid you to be prepared at the time of the exam.
When you are appearing for the interview, you must be prepared to answer both private questions as well as questions on the related subject. You must make certain that you answer in a composed and humble manner.

There is no difference between B.Tech and BE degrees. There is only nomenclature difference between both the degrees. Syllabus of both the degrees is same. In India graduation degree in engineering was B.Sc(engineering) and it was later renamed as BE. IITs traditionally have been awarded B.Tech degree. Majority of engineering colleges renamed their BE degree to B.Tech to align with IITs. Some legacy universities such as BITS PIlani have not changed name of their degree to maintain unique brand image. Acceptance of all graduation degrees in engineering such as B.Sc(engineering), BE, BE (Hons) and B.Tech is same in job market and for higher studies in India and Foreign universities.
