The eligibility condition for a B.Arch course in most institutions is a 50% aggregate at the Senior Secondary School Certificate Exam (10+2) with Maths and English as essential subjects. PHP is a server side language and is famous for ease of understanding and open source. Means there are thousands of websites using php but it will not assure you a high paying job. So if you have option then choosing testing would be good in my opinion.

I can totally understand your dilemma in this case as I have been through the same.
Now, you need understand that there are two important things to consider while seeking admission.
(i) A branch of your choice but from a not so good institute = Not much value.
(ii) A not so demanding engineering branch from a good institute= Not much value either.
