Being a graphic designer is a very good option, it includes the designing and you need to show how creative you are. For a good designer, I would say that you should start working on your drawing skill. The eligibility condition for a B.Arch course in most institutions is a 50% aggregate at the Senior Secondary School Certificate Exam (10+2) with Maths and English as essential subjects. As per the Council of Architecture guidelines the conduct of Aptitude test (NATA) is mandatory for admissions to the five year B.Arch. course by all colleges or institutions where Architectural education is given, leading to grant of Recognized Qualification by authorities on successful completion of the course.
A separate aptitude test in Architecture should be conducted and such test should not be combined with the tests for admissions to Engineering, Pharmacy, Medicine and other disciplines. The admissions shall be carried out by respective State Government/Competent Authority/Association of Architectural Institutions in the State, based on the valid NATA score and marks secured in the qualifying examination in the ratio of 50:50. As you are not a student from Maharashtra region you will need to apply for seat through Management quota along with your Nata score. Candidates out of Maharashtra, Non-Resident Indians, Persons of Indian Origin and Foreign Nationals who have secured a minimum of 50% in aggregate in Higher Secondary Certificate examination or equivalent examination with English and Mathematics are also eligible for aptitude test. However do check with respective college admission for further details.
