Software testing can be a hectic but a lucrative option. For fresher software engineers are probable to test and confirm ongoing designs. When they become experienced they may possibly become involved in designing and developing software.
Few computer software engineers with sufficient years of experience can find lucrative opportunities such as systems designers or independent consultants or they can even start their own computer consulting firms.
Plenty of job opportunities are available for software engineers in a lot of software companies in India. A PhD from a private university is valid for appointment in central and state universities but only with following conditions
1. It should have been awarded as per the UGC regulations 2009. The same is as follows
The said private university should have sent detail of the PhD seats available to UGC in advance (ask a copy from them)
Then The university should have taken an entrance exam for admission to PhD (NET/JRF/GATE can be accepted as a substitute but all admission should have happened together, cannot admit students in interval)
While admitting the student, such university must have followed minimum
requirement ie a masters degree with 55% and if applicable the masters degree must have been approved from respective professional councils such as AICTE, PCI, NCTE, NCI, MCI, AYUSH etc.
The degree must not be a distance learning only either full time or part time (offered to the people who are working in an organisation where such research facility is available)
