IPE is one of the oldest branches of NITJ and the faculty there is highly qualified and experienced. As per the placements stats, I can say it totally depends on you because lots of companies visit our campus and there is an ample amount of opportunities for you. Companies like Whirlpool, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Honda and other big giant companies allow IPE students to participate in placements with mechanical students.

Both the colleges are unique and better in their own way. You should probably visit both the campuses and talk to the students there or search and compare over the internet. In my opinion ICFAI would be a better choice as the overall review of ICFAI is comparatively better.

As only CS is common, so I will consider you are asking in that context. ABES has a much better CSE program than NITRA. Placements, infrastructure, reputation, all are much better than NITRA. Frankly, most people don't even know about NITRA.

If you are from general category, then it is very low chance to get admit in this course, because the cut off of this course closed in above 90%. But, you had a little chance in out of campuses colleges.
If you belong to OBC category, then you must get admission for this course. Mostly in last 3-4 cut off, you will get admit for this course.
