Most educational institutions require qualifications comparable to a Canadian Bachelor's degree which means a completion of 10+2+4 pattern of formal education with at least 70% (subjects should be maths, physics, chemistry and English).
Also, you should appear for an English proficiency exam, generally IELTS or TOEFL.
GRE test scores are the entry-level requirement for a the institutions for Engineering specific programmes. GRE is usually required by top ranked Public Universities in Canada.
It is also true that lower ranked universities might not ask for GRE or if they do, they usually waive it.

Mechanical engineering has a lot of scope in future as this branch is evergreen branch so it has a good scope and you get a job easily if your semester exams result are good so focus on your study and try to score the average of 7CGPA in the whole exam so that you get a job easily.

I would suggest you to visit all three campuses and decide for yourself. However, I can give you some insights of Aryabhatta College. Aryabhatta College is the youngest college is Delhi University, however that is not the case with its faculty. There faculty here is really good and have good amount of experience.
The college campus is pretty clean and the infrastructure is one of the best amongst other colleges of Delhi University because the building has been recently built. SIBM provides different types of admission based on CAT, MAT, etc. Which exam have you taken? If it is CAT, it should be around 85 to 90 percentile, if MAT then the required score is 170+. I hope, you understand. All the best.

As it is known that HBTI has been converted to a GFTI (Government Funded Technical Institute and became an autonomous university, HBTU. So in the year 2017, it was the first time that HBTU is seeking admission on the basis of the JEE Mains Rank.
