It is dec recognized & approved by joint committee(UGC-DEC-AICTE) but on the UGC website in state university list its mentioned that it is Not declared fit to receive Central/UGC assistance under Section 12 (B) of the UGC Act-1956 pls check this thing properly as I am too confused because I too want take admission in MCA in PTU-DEP if you get any get any info pls reply through this post :-)

2)A candidate in his final year is also eligible for the civil services exam. (IPS, IFS, IAS)
3)A candidate's age must be between 21 to 30 years. 3 and 5 years of relaxation for OBC and SC/ST respectively.
4)A candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Do a PG Programme in Journalism and Mass Communication from a University. Jamia, Symbiosis or Nitte Mangalore offer good programs. If you dont get into the School of Broadcasting & Communication, you can Google search now for admissions into any of these universities immediately.
