Hi Manjeet,
In India, PGDM from IIMs is worth more than MBA from any other BSchool. If it is an MBA from a foreign university then it is better than a PGDM from IIMs.

Hi Shekhar,
It's unfortunate that you had to drop your BCA in the middle of the tenure. Most colleges have a different provision for admission. You need to contact the institute officials personally for specific admission details as it differs from one college to another.
You may also consult your previous college, if they can re-consider your case. I would request you to contact your Head of Department regarding the procedure set forth by the college.
However, you may pursue BCA via distance or correspondence mode of learning. There may be some difference in Correspondence and Regular course, i would say it varies from one subject to the

Hi, Diploma Certification from abroad has very little relevance compared to MBA/PGDM from India, unless it is done from a top class reputed institution. PGDM/MBA in marketing from India has an advantage because the course curriculum itself involves internship programmes, live projects, industry projects, corporate exposure & above all placements. From career perspectives, I suggest you study PGDM Marketing from an AICTE/AIU approved institute in India which will help you move ahead in the right direction.

Hi Simran,
PGP is a diploma whereas MBA is a masters degree. So it is not the same. If you look at a career perspective then a PGP degree from IIMs is valued much higher that an MBA degree from any Indian institution.

Hi Simran,
There are several scholarships available that are based on family income and merit. Special Need based scholarship (SNBS) is given out on family income basis. There are industry scholarships such as Aditya Birla and OP Jindal that are based on merit.
The average age of student is around 23.
PGP is very stressful but I dont think it is burdensome. You get to learn a lot from one of the most competitive atmospheres of any institution.

Hi Simran,
PGP in IIM A does not offer any specialization. If you want to build a career in social sector then IIMs can offer you some learning in the sector. There are several professors here who work in the field of social entrepreneurship and offer course in those sectors in second year.
