The admission to National Institute of Technology (NITs) is based on the JEE Main scores and the cutoff ranks released by the respective NITs. The cutoff ranks vary each year and depend on several factors, including the difficulty level of the exam, the number of applicants, and the availability of seats in each programme. As per the previous year's cutoff ranks, the cutoff for SC category candidates in NITs has been around 40,000-50,000 rank. However, the cutoffs can change each year, and it's difficult to predict the exact cutoff ranks for admission in NITs. Based on your CRL rank and SC category, it's possible that you may be able to get a seat in some of the lower-ranked NITs or in less popular programs at some of the higher-ranked NITs. However, to know your chances of admission to a particular NIT and programme, it's recommended to check the previous year's cutoffs and the current year's trends, or contact the admission office of the respective NIT directly.
