Hi,
After completing Bachelors in computer science you have 2 options:
1.To opt for a job.
2.To opt for further studies (MBA, MCA etc)
However as per your profile I would suggest you to work for 2-3 years after completing your graduation and then opt for further studies.
The advantage of this step would be:
- You will gain relevant work experience.
- After working you will know which course to pursue that can further enhance your career prospects, i.e. if you wish to build your career in technical field, then you may pursue masters in same or related fields, whereas if you are interested in management then you may pursue MBA.

Short listing is done based on the Composite Percentile of CAT/MAT.
In case you have 60 percentile in MAT of 50 percentile in CAT you are likely to be shortlisted for GD/PI.
However, the final cut offs for GD/PI are drawn based on the number of applications received in each round and thus we cannot say for sure at this stage about you making it in the merit.

Scope of Chemical engineering is definitely not high as the scope of other engg branches as of now. However with added qualifiction like M.E. or MBA you can force ahead in manufacturing, Research based org, Marketing. Post graduate specialization subject plays an important role in making the career. Chemical engineering graduates enhance their worth only after some relevant work experience. Freshers do not get to get much in terms of salary. But with some good experience a chemical engineer can climb ahead of engineers from other branches.
