Hi,
The university requirements are different. GRE may be required by some universities, you must also take IELTS. You must also check that university you apply to accepts three year undergraduate degree because most universities in Canada require 16 year education or 4 year Bachelor's degree.

You may check the British council website for scholarship information. You can also check the university websites for university specific financial aid options. All applicants are normally considered for scholarship, but given to only the shortlisted ones basis merit and academic performance.

There is a list released by the JEE Mains counseling department every year regarding all the opening and closing rank of different colleges (both other state and own state category wise). You can check that or you can check the website of NIT, Jalandhar.

There is no difference for student studying in NIT and other studying in IIT.There is only thinking that go for IIT only.There are NIT'S which are far better than some IIT like NIT Allahabad it ranks above some reputed IITs.So don't let your career fix to IIT only if you are getting a good NIT go for it.

Great, the placement cell of Punjab University is one of the best thing in the campus. It has a great infrastructure and great faculty members. It has high class facilities full Wi-Fi campus. Moreover, it has wonderful placements, 400 companies visited campus this year.

AyushDont go with which stream is better. Go with what you want do after studying B.Tech. You may take following considerations. If you like computer, want to build crazy application or something related to software go with Computer Science engineering. If you like playing with machines/motors or electricity go ahead with Mechanical engineering. Or Electrical engineering. If you are India, after studying Electronics and communication engineering most of the students gets job/work in IT companies. Only few percent gets chance in electronics companies.
