Well Tushar, according to me, MBA is opted by students of diverse streams. If you have a little bit of interest towards management, you can go for it. Don't look for a stream.
Now a days, even IIT pass out students are opting MBA.
Yes, surely Science or Maths background will help you to crack entrance examination for MBA. Commerce will help you after cracking the entrance.

Most important is being a good programmer. Otherwise, big private players would not employ you. They look for programmers with good mathematics background.
I am not sure how good you are with Mathematics and programming. If you are, then you must pick up a language whether PHP/ HTML5 (web dev), .Net (for software dev) Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games). However like I mentioned, you must be good with programming to move ahead in this area since you have to compete with other MCAs and B.Tech (CS) applicants. The numbers are different for Marketing, Finance and HR, so I can guide you better if you can tell me what specialization you want to opt for. Your CMAT score definitely has a chance of admission. For entry through the DTE, you have to fill a form available on the DTE's website. Just go to the DTE Maharashtra website and click on MBA/MMS, and you will get access to the form. I suggest you fill it soon as the deadline for form completion is fast approaching.
