As per your query it seems that you wish to pursue MBA, please remember if you are in first year of BMS, then you are not eligible to take this test.
However, if you are in final year of graduation, then you may surely appear for CAT- 2013.
CAT examination is divided into three sections:
1. Quantitative Aptitude.
2. Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning.
3. Verbal Ability.
Regarding preparation, I would suggest you to join some good coaching institute in your city which offers quality coaching for various management entrance tests.

In my view IP is a more better option than Physical Education because for any student having computer knowledge is good.
But, if you want to take less burden as you are already studying PCM then you can select Physical Education also.
