As per your query it seems that you wish to pursue MBA, then please remember in order to pursue full time MBA or PGDM program you need to be graduate in any field with atleast 50% marks in graduation, plus you need to take various management entrance test like CAT, MAT, XAT, etc.
CAT examination is divided into three sections:
1. Quantitative Aptitude.
2. Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning.
3. Verbal Ability.
MAT examination includes following sections:

-Core field
-Software field
If you are opting for core jobs, you may take some courses related to your branch :
-Power systems
-Latest applications of Solar panels

-VLSI
-You can also opt for Mechanical branches such as Robotics and Humanoids and other mechanical applications.

The eligibility criteria for Ph.D varies for every institute. However the basic requirement is a masters degree or an equivalent degree in the relevant discipline.
However the cut off percentages vary. Some of the institutes conduct entrance exams and some of them require atleast two research publications for the Ph.D programs. Some also require work experience of a couple of years.
