Hi Harpreet, to become an automotive engineer :
1) You need to pursue Engineering degree/Diploma first with a strong base in Science and Mathematics.
2) After graduation you can go for M.E./M.Tech in Automobile engineering.
3) You may even opt for short/long term courses comprising of different levels like designing, development or manufacturing with automotive. It depends on you where do you want to fit in.

Why are you restrict yourself to just one field Aviation. Aviation Industry already at their Hard time Kingfisher get bankrupt , Indian Airlines Already in Huge Loss even they doesn't have a money to pay pilots and their staffs. With the Help of these branches of MBA in marketing , HR , Finance you can make your career in Aviation if you want to. i don't know why Indians don't use their common sense.

The cut off varies every year. I would advice you not to ponder over how much to score rather focus on your preparation. Do not limit your studies to the marks but put in your 100% and keep exploring for more and more.
Well I can also suggest you:-
1. Balance all the Sections of Aptitude Test. Identify the weightage of each sections and sub-sections and allocate the time keeping your strengths in mind.
2. Invest sufficient time in improving, strengthening your vocabulary and reading skills from the beginning.
3. Having good command in Vocabulary and Grammar will help you score more marks in less time.
4. A good understanding of the ec
