The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, to fulfill the demand for trained accounting professionals and to support Chartered Accountants, launched a new course for the second tier accountants or the accounting technicians.
The Accounting Technicians not only fill the gaps at the operational level, but also ensures that the value chain in the accounting process does not suffer.
With the launch of this course, students who have enrolled for the CA course, but for some reasons are not able to complete the course, always have an option of becoming an Accounting Technician.
However at the same time, there is a scope for them to acquire CA qualification even after qualifying the Accounting Technician Course.
For ATC candidates usually the starting salary is like Rs 15000 per month.
Scope in abroad would be little less as compared to CA.

Hi Avantika.I have gone through counselling session with SNU, so I can help with a little more information. Interdisciplinary education means you study subjects that seemingly don't go with each other in traditional education system. The idea is.we all need to have an idea and knowledge of the subjects we are learning in totality .For example, if you are engineer who makes products, but don't understand business of selling the products,then you may not be able to make the best products.So I believe SNU allows you to choose a Major and a Minor.for example.you can go a major in computer science with a minor in economics.overall structure of SNU's curriculum is designed to foster students' ability to integrate critical thinking, interpretive skills, scientific exploration and normative principles into their world-view and to prepare them as future leaders in a complex, changing, and unpredictable world.
