Hi Nayan!
As you know JEE Mains is conducted by CBSE and its syllabus is also based on CBSE syllabus therefore it would be easier if you choose CBSE board.
Also as it is easier to score higher in CBSE than ISC therefore your JEE rank will further increase.
In the long run it does not really matter which board you studied from, the thing that matters is the college you studied from.

Dear Vikram, to get a scholarship (LATE SHRI BIPIN BIHARI VERMA MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP), a candidate has have brilliant score throughout 10, 10+2, Graduation 60% and above whereas in CMAT, CAT, XAT 75% or above. So keeping your 12th marks in mind, all I can suggest is you atleast apply for the same, Institute will make a final 40 best students merit list of 2015-2017 batch and decide accordingly. Yea it is open now .You can get admission but you need to attend GD&PI conducted by college and also PESSAT exam if preffered by college . GD&PI will be there every sundays in college campus only. Ask for appointments by calling to college ok.

Ya. It is OK to bring Macbook, but very less people will bring those and some softwares might not work in those. For more info plz contact the admissions office. U don't have to do install any software, as all softwares will be provided by the institute.
