RVCE is better
1. Ranking: Both the colleges are quite the same when it comes to ranking. But if you are particularly looking for chemical engineering department, I would say please consider MSRIT as well. Chemical engineering department is government aided there and has much better facilities. BMS has more recognition in US compared to RVCE.
2. Placements: If you want to get placed in a core company. Any of the three college- RVCE/ BMS/ MSRIT is good. Almost all the companies visit these three colleges. And there are companies who pay more to a student from BMS or MSRIT than one from R
