After completing MBBS, you can get around Rs. 30,000-55,000.
After completing MS, you can get a salary package of 1,00,000-3,00,000 rupees per month.
Engineers get around Rs. 25,000-1,50,000.
Your salary will also depend on the turnover of the organisation.

Most of the companies go for an aptitude test to begin with followed by GD and PI. The only criteria to be eligible for placements is that u should a cgpa of at least 5.5 The average was 6.44 lakhs per annum and the average package offered was 15 lakhs per annum by D.E. Shaw for finance profile.

One of the factors can be the years of study you have to invest. Medical requires you to study for greater no of years than engineering. But both have good opportunities in their fields.
