Placement is good for both B.Tech and M.Tech.
Coming to the highest package that depends on the company as every year some company revises their salary structure which affect the highest package. During my campus placement, I have got an initial package of Rs. 4.85 lakhs per annum from Escorts Ltd. while for my immediate junior the package is 6.25 lakhs per annum from Escorts Ltd. So, by this which company will give you highest package is a tricky one.
All of the good automotive company come for placement activity like Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, Mahindra and Mahindra, Honda, Volvo Eicher etc.
