Hello R Rahul, Getting a degree via distance education in engineering branch as well as the post graduation degree was possible some years back in India. However recently UGC has announced once again that no distance learning university can offer any professional courses including engineering for studies. For the internship, you must have a signed letter from your college. Generally in 2nd semester, they don't provide it. But you can request them.
