Yes, you can get admision through MAT score or through CAT/XAT/ MAH- CET/ATMA. The admissions to same are done as per rules & regulations framed by the Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai (DTE), time to time. The details of various dates (schedules) are published by them in their information brochure as well as available on their website www.dte.org.in/mba.

You have indeed scored very handsomely in your 12th examination. If one looks at only these marks then I am sure you will definitely get admission in one of the engineering colleges in Tamilnadu Through Anna University. However there are some other criterias for admissions also. No. M.Sc Food Science is not available through Distance education mode in Periyar University. It is available Only through Regular Education in Periyar University. And also, remember one thing, Doing PG courses like Food Science, Nutrition, etc. If possible, it is always advisable to do it in regular mode. Regular Education will give more quality education, more knowledge and an upper hand in case of employment.

You can go for B.Sc Biotechnology or B.Tech Biotechnology after your class 12th with PCM. It might become quite difficult to survive in biotechnology, because a PCM student is unaware of basic concepts of biology which are roots of biotechnology. Biotechnology is nothing but technical biology, where we use technology to develop or manipulate the nature's creation.
