No, the NID cutoff is released only for the DAT Mains exam, not for the DAT Prelims exam.
- The DAT Prelims exam acts as a screening test to shortlist candidates for the DAT Mains exam. It doesn't have a specific cutoff score.
- NID aims to shortlist at least 3 times the number of available seats per category for the DAT Mains exam.
- The NID releases a category-wise cutoff for the DAT Mains exam. This cutoff is based on the rank and score of the last candidate admitted into a particular B.Des programme or category in the previous year (around June-July).
