The UGC NET E-Certificate was issued on September 5, 2023 for the June 2023 cycle by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on the official website. The UGC NET Certificate makes candidates eligible to apply for Assistant Professor or both Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor posts.

The UGC NET e-certificate for the UGC NET December Cycle is yet to be released by the NTA. The steps to download the UGC NET e Certificate has been given below:

• Visit the official website-ugcnet.nta.nic.in 
• On the homepage, candidates will have to log in after selecting the institution and captcha code 
• Candidates will then have to select UGC NET from the dropdown list 
• Click the Proceed button 
• Enter the Application Number (12-digit number) or Roll Number (Alphanumeric Number), date of birth, exam session, and captcha code. UGC NET Certificate will be displayed on the screen 
• Download the UGC NET Certificate.

The UGC NET December'23 notification was released by NTA on September 30, 2023. Prospective candidates had the opportunity to fill out the application form during the window from September 30 to October 31, 2023. The age limit for the UGC NET exam varies based on the category of the candidate. For Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), the maximum age limit is 31 years as of January 1 in the year of the exam, with certain relaxations for reserved category candidates. Assistant Professor applicants do not have an upper age limit.
