With 333705 obc ncl rank in JEE Mains getting into sastra university is very unlikely especially for branches like CSE or ECE. They usually close at way better ranks. You can still try if you're okay with non core branches or management quota.

It's difficult to give a precise closing rank for SASTRA University's B.Tech Biotechnology programme for your specific rank (AIR 333705) and OBC-NCL category, as cutoff ranks fluctuate year to year. However, based on previous trends and the information available, your chances are likely, but not guaranteed.

With 56 percentile and 667000 rank your chances at any NIT are almost zero unless you have a category rank like ST or PWD. Even then, admission in very low demand branches and remote NITs is possible.

If you're looking for exams similar to CBSE in style and level then ICSE is pretty close. Both focus on theory, conceptual clarity and ncert-based content state boards like Haryana, Delhi or up follow a similar pattern too.
