Although, both the institutes are well known, but that can not & should not be the reason to take up their study material, rather I would suggest you to visit all the three institutes go through their study material make a comparison and then decide which institute you should choose, I would also suggest you to interact with few of the current batch students and take a feedback about the material.
Hope this will help you in taking a decision. Feel free to put up more queries In case your query is resolved please close this question by choosing it as a best answer or pressing the thumbs up icon.

Although, all the above mentioned fields offer bright future, Mechanical is a core Engineering field through which you can get into streams like Aeronautical, and electrical. However, selection of a specialization would completely depend on your own interests and career aspirations, so choose the programme which goes well along with your capabilities as well as your interests as that will help in excelling in that particular field. One option is that you start your career by joining a company in electrical like Bajaj or BHEL etc. at Junior Executive or Executive level and slowly grow in the field or else you join a B.Tech programme through Lateral Entry and then either go for M.Tech or start a job. The only benefit of having B.Tech would be better job opportunities and faster growth and also at any point of time you can plan for higher studies be it M.Tech or MBA.
