The best way to gain confidence in choosing a stream is to rigorously investigate and know the field.
I would advise you to attend various workshops for post graduates conducted by various universtities ( althought they are a marketing gimmick at the end but it will help you gain a meaningful insight as per your desired chosen field)>
Visit few mass comm colleges, get their curriculum. talk to alumni and try to understand if this is the sector you wish to see yourself 5-8 years hence.
also do particularly inquire about the placement capabilities of the institute which will hep you gain more support in taking an appropriate decision for yo

It is always advisable to work for 2-3 years after completing graduation and then opting for MBA.
The advantage of this step would be:
- You will gain relevant work experience.
- After working for some years you will know which specialization to opt in MBA that can further enhance your career prospects, however as per your profile pursuing MBA in finance would be the best option for you.
- This work experience of yours would give you competitive advantage over other candidates with no work experience during MBA admission.
- Finally if you work for some years then you may yourself manage the expenses for your further studies.
