Hello Shruti,
If you want to take admission in a reputed B-School, then you must appear for one or the other entrance exam and clear the further interview rounds (if shortlisted for it). No good college admit candidates just on the basis of their graduation or the overall academic score.

Hello Sukruth,
Yes. B.S. Abdur Rahman University, Chennai is a good college for engineering and also for architecture. Its name has been changed to Crescent University.
It has a good reputation and accreditation like 'A' grade by NAAC.
The placements are decent and if you are talented you can be surely placed. The faculty are also good so that they may help you in an efficient manner.

No, TNEA counselling is a single window counselling under Anna University and is for those students who have either studied till 12th in Tamil Nadu or should be a native of Tamil Nadu completing 12th from any state.

Have you filled the waiting list form of the college? And if not, 20th June is the last date to do it. So, first you have to apply for it and on 24th June, the first waiting list will be put on the college as well on the college website. So, hurry. You are eligible for admission considering your score in HSC.

From 2017, along with 2016 batch, have an option of changing 4-year B.Tech course to 5-year dual degree at the end of the 3rd-year which is called exit option.
So, it should be well cleared and boldly marked that IIEST doesn't offer 5-years as a compulsory course, it's an option at the end of 3rd- year.
