Opportunity in both the fields are enormous and totally depend on in depth knowledge you gain in your field in the engineering time span. So don't compare, just follow your interest and you will do fine. There are plenty of jobs in both fields for people who do well, and there's a very wide array of applications in both fields. If you like working in the open and love designing and drawing choose civil. But if you want to work in an AC room sitting on a chair in front of a PC choose computer. Computer science is comfortable branch and has more scope especially onsite opportunities.

L. J. Institute of Engineering and Technology is one of the best college. LJ provides a lot of facilities to their students. LJ provides best faculty members and study material to their students. LJ takes 2 mid-semester exam to prepare their students for GTU exam. LJ provides good platform to represent yourself. So, in my view, LJ is a good college.

There is no requirement of special books of PCM for CET preparation as the syllabus is similar to the other Indian engineering entrance examinations. Therefore, one can follow any standard book for engineering preparation available in the market. But I would suggest to build a strong foundation of concepts of PCM as it will help you in the long run.
