Honestly speaking about your rank, I think you must concentrate on other entrance exams or their rank because this rank is not of any use. Talking about NITs or IIITs, for admission, your OBC rank needs to be less than 15000. You may take admission to other good college or you can take a drop and try again in next year for these colleges. Hope this will help you.

Dear Shailesh, Check the link below to know the colleges you can get with this rank:

In case, you don't get your desired college, don't settle for something mediocre. Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if you try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Tech in different branches. They have different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on the basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both. Some even offer direct adm

Institute of Law, Nirma University is well established and have good placements every year. It is way ahead of Kirit P Mehta School of Law, NMIMS because KPMSOL NMIMS started B.A. LL.B. and BBA LL.B. recently, no batch has been passed out yet. Expenses wise, both are almost at the same level. I will recommend you to join Nirma University, Ahmedabad.

For 2018-2019 (first year), the fee is 2,33,400 INR which includes one-time deposits, tuition fees and alumni association fees, etc. Nirma University doesn't have its own hostel, so you have to take private hostel or PG which will cost you from 1,00,000 to 2,00,000 per annum, depending upon the hostel/PG. So minimum total expenses per annum will be around 3,50,000 to 4,50,000 rupees.

Dear Bharat,
B.Tech is a better option as it is a professional degree/ course, whereas, B.Scn and BCA are not professional but are simple/ regular degrees. These days we have many branches available for B.Tech. Some of them are there for long like ECE, CSE, EE, Mech., Civil, etc. But with the passage of time, the impact of technology has increased due to which many new branches have come up like Biotech, Food Tech., Nanotech, Agri., Mechatronics, etc. Many reputed private universities are offering these B.Tech specializations. They have different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on the basis of JEE scores, some offer admis

As like degree in polytechnic also, the highest placements are for computers but mechanical diploma is also good for placements.
At last, the placement is not depending on your branch; it depends on your knowledge and credibility.
Hope this will help you.

You can go to the link below to predict the colleges you may get in this rank via CET. As far as I know, chances are not very good. But you can get something via your JEE-Mains rank. I will put the link to that as well.
Best of luck :)
