Go for DTU its a better option than NIT. NIT, Delhi has 3 branches while DTU offer around 9- 10. Placements wise DTU being an established institute has much higher package i.e 1.25 crore by Uber and the package is in crores from last 3 years and other companies too offer good profiles
Academics and the co-curricular activities will be definitely better in DTU.

GRE is necessary for most of the Canadian universities but they consider IELTS as their English standardisation examination. Apart from his GRE score, your friend will need-
-Statement of purpose, which will describe why he wants to join the programme he is applying for
-A well-drafted CV, which will contain all the necessary statistical data of his profile
-Transcripts, which will contain all of his graduation marks related grades in a single page.
-Recommendation letter, ideally from his college HOD, project guide, and teachers. Better the profile of the professor, the better his recommendation letter.
Hope this helps!
Thanks.

It would not be inapt to say that Ahmedabad is a management education hub because of IIM, Nirma, etc. Well, there are various private institutions also which are providing value, out of which Narayana Business School is picking up the name because of its placements, interactive teaching style, grooming sessions, live projects, etc. which help the students in their overall development.
So, I think you should definitely go for Narayan Business School.
Thanks :)
