Hi, Yes, If there is mentioned in your college prospectus that it is mandatory to maintain a minimum 75% attendance, then please be careful cause it can cost you a semester or may be a year. However, in some colleges it is not necessary.

Fundamentally, it's a course where the degree is awarded by a university in another country with attendant benefits for the student. Hello Akshita, International Engineering Programmes are offered not only by Thapar but by many more Institutions in India nowadays. It, of course, involves heavy expenditure but then it's better than spending all four years abroad. If you are intending to settle abroad then the course is definitely good.

It is of course new NIT at Puducherry. But, there is really lots of things special in new ones (NITs) and the things you may never get anywhere else. Small institution so the opportunities are extremely high when compared to any other old NITs. I have to mention that faculty is highly knowledgeable.
