In order to become an IPS, you have to qualify for the UPSC exams. There are two stages that you need to clear CSAT exam and main exam. In order to prepare for IPS the minimum requirement is graduation from a recognized university and the age group is 21-30yrs. For your preparation I would suggest you to first join a good coaching center so that you have the relevant study material to start your preparation. Now lets come to the most important part that is self study which is very essential as IAS or UPSC exams are not that easy to crack and to crack the exam you really have to prioritize your time. For self study you can start with reading newspapers and books related to current affairs and Gk, if you want you can refer to Manorama Year book which is one good book for GK and current affairs. Hi Nilam,
By BCS you are a graduate degree holder and to pursue MBA a minimum eligibility remains to be a graduate from a recognized University.
Hence, if you are keen to study and make a career in the management stream then you should definitely opt for MBA. There are several specializations available and one can opt among the many based on self interest and preference, but as per your qualification, I think MBA in IT would be a good option.
