Usually admission in a good journalism college is done by an entrance exam conducted by the institute and the fees also depends upon institute to institute. So you can check the website of the respective institute of your choice to know about the admission procedure.

Arsha.The National Board of Accreditation (NBA), the likely successor of AICTE and UGC, will have greater powers to close any college or university that are not recognised or offers courses that are not accredited. NBA's decisions cannot be challenged in any court. The Ministry of Human Resource Development has formed NBA inorder to dissolve AICTE and UGC completely in future due the corruption within these two organisations. There are many unrecognised colleges and universities running freely due to corription and even many recognised institutions are offering unaccredited courses. As mentioned earlier by Suni207 and Vanshlata, it is always safer and sensible to go for accredited colleges.
