Yes Jodie a person who is not academically qualified or who even doesn ot have any relevant work experience can do analysis provided he/she indulges in it with al thei ntelligence and logic sense he/she has and provided he/she has some communicative abilities. Communication is important for any kind of analysis work. However the scenario which is mentioned in the question would prove to be relevant for the analyzer only when he/she has the objective of drawing some mileage out of the analysis. If ther is an objective or a mission then it can be accomplished with more ease.

Shams@ hi Anurag,
You need not need to buy any books. There are also magazines that provide tips to IAS/IPS aspirants. You may have to watch Indian and international news channels, and read newspapers/ magazines that deal with politics, economics, and business to keep a record of current affairs.

While preparing for Mains, you need to practice writing your answers, so that you could learn to present

Ronaka.I think you have chosen London School of Business and Finance's UG Trium programme because it guarantees you a job after graduation. If you read the terms and conditions carefully, you will notice that the job offer is only for graduates who already have a work permit or can get a work permit with their own efforts. In other words, the company that is ready to offer you a job will not sponsor you for work permit. Having said that, if you have chosen London School of Business and Finance with the intention of returning back to India after graduation, then it may not be a good choice.
