Hi,
As available on the website, for the post of Assistant Teacher in West Bengal School Service commission, the compulsory required marks of 50% in B.ed and Degree Courses is not going to affect the forthcoming recruitments of Assistant Teacher and next in 3 years in WBSSC.
Now candidates without 50% marks in Degree Courses may also apply, i.e. candidates who have passed Degree Course in 2009-2010 can apply with minimum 45% marks. And in all cases the SC/ST candidates will receive 5% cut-off of percentage.
Recruitments which is going to be held or may hold within 3 years (i.e. up to 2014); the requirement of B.Ed is not going to be compulsory, but candidates with B.Ed will get first preferences, i.e. the vacant post filling will start from B.Ed to Non B.Ed.
WBSSC have also laid terms for successful candidates without B.Ed or below 50% marks that they will have to acquire the degree within 2years from the day of starting the job.
